Kalin Consulting, a division of Kalin LLC, provides consulting services to federal and state agencies, local governments, businesses and nonprofit organizations. Our mission is to expand opportunities to participate in and invest in the sustainable economy, particularly clean energy technologies.
A Proven Track Record
Our principal, Jeremy Kalin, has invested nearly two decades of his professional and public service life in expanding the clean energy economy. He’s served in the Minnesota House of Representatives and the White House. He’s advised Governors, Mayors, City Councils, Secretaries of Energy and state cabinet members.
As a legislative, Jeremy wrote Minnesota’s first solar incentives and has personally facilitated more than half a billion dollars in investment in solar, energy efficiency, clean water and other renewable energy projects.
His particular passion is structuring public and private financing tools to make solar available and affordable across incomes, geographies and utility territories.
He practices law at Avisen Legal, P.A., and occasionally provides consulting services when legal advisory services are not required to advance a project’s goals. Jeremy founded Kalin LLC and Kalin Consulting in early 2018, soon after winding down his first company, Eutectics Consulting, a mission-driven company that helped establish at least four new billion-dollar clean energy financing tools and markets.
