I've spent 15 years personally invested in making our world a better place by unlocking investment in sustainable infrastructure, particularly in clean energy - with $293 Million in directly facilitated projects as a consultant, ranging from very large projects to 6-figure solar and energy savings projects.

In addition to the consulting services I provide via Kalin Consulting, I work as an Impact Counsel attorney at Avisen Legal, P.A. in Minneapolis, MN, with clients ranging from businesses and nonprofit organizations and from public-interest foundations and motivated investors. As an attorney, I have facilitated more than a quarter billion dollars in community-scale project financing and equity investments in the clean energy economy.

I've helped build 4 new billion-dollar financing tools. I approach the craft of consulting project finance with the same creativity and entrepreneurship that helped me get elected to the State Legislature; work for the White House; succeed as a studio craftsman and serve as a startup CEO for 8 years.

My current work is focused on expanding on successes in clean energy and other project financing to mobilize capital in clean energy, clean water, advanced manufacturing and housing sectors.
